Years of tradition

The Central Districts Field & Game Club was founded by a group of passionate hunters and anglers who shared a love for New Zealand's remarkable wilderness. From humble beginnings, the club has grown into a thriving community committed to ethical hunting, conservation, and the traditions of field sport.

Over the decades, our members have hunted the high country tussock, fished the limestone rivers, and gathered around countless campfires. The club has always stood for fair chase, respect for the land, and passing these values on to the next generation.

Today the club remains proudly independent, run by volunteers, and deeply connected to the landscapes of Central Districts. We welcome new members who share our values.
